Re: ubuntu 11.4 and cacti causing login problems.

cacti never used the server accounts as far as i know, at least not in the default install.
You define the admin user's password on the first connection to the website. Then you could add users with the servers accounts names or some authentication module...

Re: new script & tempate

I made new script & tempate because the first one is not realy mesure the time till the GET request is finished. the new script is based on nagios plugin check_http with the follow option so the time reflaced in the graph is the time taken for the page to load copy the scripts check_http & nrpe_htt...

Re: ping.pl problems on LAN hosts

my fault...

it is in fact showing milliseconds on the scale, and the indicated value is 150m. which means milli milli seconds.. :D a bit compicated but the graphs are correct.

Thanks anyway.

Hello Howie, thanks for the answer, unfortunately these values on't seem to have anything to do with the values i see in the graph... Graph reports last as inbound 25.75 and out bound as 1.64 k while the rrdtool info gives as LAST values (which is the same as the last AVERAGE value) 1.7700447665e+04...

in your php.ini look for the Dynamic Extension section

and add

extension=mysql.so
extension=gd.so

This is how i did it on apache under linux (not sure but it should be the same on windows)
