Re: Realtime (graph), v0.33

I figured the last of the problems out. I wasn't defining $url_path correctly. I don't have access to my past installs so I was Googling for the correct syntax. Somewhere I came up with: $config['url_path'] = "/cacti/"; No idea where I found that. Switching to this fixed everything: $url_path="/cact...

Re: Realtime (graph), v0.33

Eureka! It appears that SELinux was hosing me. I hadn't turned that PITA off yet. It's off now and Realtime is working better but still not working right. I'm now getting a broken image in the popup window (with or without AJAX). Pulling the image location I see the problem but I don't know what's c...

Re: Realtime (graph), v0.33

Help! I must be going crazy. I can't seem to get the permissions right for the cache directory. It can't be this hard... This is a brand new 0.8.7h install with PHP 5.3.2 and I'm using Spine. Cacti is installed to /www/noc/html/cacti-0.8.7h and symlinked to cacti/ (for in-place upgrades). $url_path ...

Re: Tree structure

Not a problem. You might rename your original query and prepend "[SOLVED]" to the Subject. The devs like that... I still wish the expand hosts option was a global option. Or give me the ability to define a default user template with all those settings that could be carried down to the individual use...

Re: 64-bit counters

Well damn. I guess that would probably be the easiest. I'd rather not blow away the hosts though if I can help it. Is there an easy way to dump the rras and cleanse the DB of the graphs without totally wiping all the devices? Getting the SNMPv3 stuff to work right took some finesse. AutoM8? I must h...

Re: Tree structure

Are you thinking of the "Expand Hosts" setting in the individual user's settings by chance? I've been bit by that a few times myself. I wish it was a global and not an individual user option.

64-bit counters

So I think I made a mistake. Don't you love it when support queries start out that way? I just put in a new install of Cacti at a new job (haven't put a new one in for about a year). I spent all weekend adding hosts and graphs only to realize this AM that my switch interface statistics vary w...

Re: [solved] all php scripts: verbose query stopped returnin

I too would like to see additional info on this one. I have a shiny new Cacti 0.8.7g install on a likewise new CentOS 5.5 box and can not get the NBAR scripts to work either. I've confirmed that the router in question responds correctly to a walk of the OID for NBAR. The scripts installed easily and...

Importing scripts that overwrite modified templates

Is there any way to lock graph templates (I suppose other types as well) so that when I import someone's script that it doesn't overwrite all the changes I've made to the default set? For example I make numerous changes to the Interface graph templates whenever I install Cacti. I don't know what of ...

Reversable graph template items

Every time I do a Cacti install I have to reverse the order of the text labels below the graph to put Max on the left and Current on the right. Whenever I don't clients always end up asking me to do that for them because they find the default way confusing. IMHO it is confusing. We read a book from ...

Re: DB Exec Failed

If I can at least save my hosts, templates, and the basic graph config and then let Cacti recreate the graph data, I'd be fat, dumb and happy. I'm less concerned about a week's worth of graphing than I am about all those hours of creating devices and graphs.

Re: DB Exec Failed

So I went to add a new host today and for some reason I couldn't login. It accepted the userid/passwd but kept sending me back to the login page (bad credentials were indicated as such when I tried that for grins). Ultimately I figured out what was wrong. I was out of drive space again. We're underg...

Is this supposed to be posted to cactiusers.org as well? I stumbled across this in the forums and hadn't seen it on that site yet.

Re: DB Exec Failed

Sorry for the delay. I tabled Cacti to work on other urgent things. I'm ready to focus on Cacti again. Here's where I'm at. My Cacti install is all but completely shot at this point. I don't have a single graph functional after that drive space issue and DB corruption. I can't find a way to fix it e...

Thanks for the reply. The only thing in red is a warning for the PHP memory_limit. It was 168MB from 128MB. Are any of the non-red items useful for troubleshooting? The last entries in the MySQL log are from when I was out of drive space. 100914 13:15:02 [ERROR] /usr/libexec/mysqld: Disk is full wri...
