This is an interesting problem then. The first one returns the invalid result and the "Line" is gray on the weathermap. The second one works fine, any insight? ds[mplsLspOctets].type = "COUNTER" ds[mplsLspOctets].minimal_heartbeat = 1200 ds[mplsLspOctets].min = 0.0000000000e+00 ds[mplsLspOctets].max...

Yea, that's just as complex (not that it is complex mind you, just a lot of text that 'could' be assumed by a variable at the top). I was sort of thinking like: RRADIR /var/cacti/rra/ as a top level config option, then if the TARGET didn't have a '/' it would prepend the RRADIR to it. I admit, I'm n...

Heh, about two years ago Howie and I had exactly this conversation :). On a similar note Howie, is there any way to set a "Default RRD Directory". I have a ton of RRD files (over 10k) which all reside in one directory. Currently I use two formats to set the target: LINK cr1.ex1-cr2.ex1 NODES cr1.ex1...

Request for some control over warnings?

Howie, I've got a huge number of MPLS LSPs being graphed...some of them don't see data for days at a time (The glory of a full mesh). Could I get a way to kill the warning to 0 responses? Right now I've just done this in Weathermap.class.php: //if (($in < 0) || ($out < 0)) //{ // $in=0; // $out=0; /...

I fixed it on my Redhat server by squashing the fancy code in plugins.php. Here is exactly what I did: Edit include/plugins.php Add a static definition above the last 'define' line, such as: if (isset($_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT']) && isset($_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR'])) { $config['url_path'] = substr(__FILE...

Question on Measurands

Greetings all,

I have an odd situation:

One RRD
Two Data Sources
DS#1 is fine with f_avg*8
DS#2 needs f_avg*1000

I can't figure out how to make that work. Anyone have any pointers?

Just to close the loop on this, I resolved it by doing the following: 1> Open the OVERLIBURL for a graph that is having the issue in it's own browser so all you get is the img. 2> Right click on the image and select properties 3> Note the Height and Width (Ignore the settings in the URL for height a...

10GB Interfaces

Greetings all, I'm currently trying to make a new SNMP - Interfaces Query to deal with ifHighSpeed on our devices, I've got everything working perfectly with the exception of not knowing how to deal with the change in base values. In the ifSpeed world, the value is displayed in bits/sec...in ifHighS...

Yep, checked that Howie. Found that it only happens in Firefox. Very strange.

I'll explain then, as I've been fighting with this forever: Juniper uses their enterprise MPLS MIB to turn hex returns into "Names". The output of an OID in the index I am using for my query: Test1: snmpwalk -v2c -c <STRING> router1.isp enterprise Result1: SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.2636.3.2.3.1.1.109....

Oddness with overlib

I'm having issues with some of my overlibs "flashing" when I mouse over the link. This seems to only happen on the right hand side of the map with links that are close to the edge.

Any advice out there?

Quandry with Data Source

Greetings all, I am trying to add a simple SNMP OID based data template that puts data for 4+ OIDs into the same rrdfile. My problem is that the second and higher data source I try to define don't take OIDs. My goal is to finally lump the 4 to 10 OIDs I graph for each router into 1 rrd and then have...

Adding MIBs to PHP

Greetings all, Due to limitations on Juniper routers, some OIDs /require/ the mib to be loaded before they will be processed properly. I have been forced to modify snmp.php to only use the binary snmp utilitys and add the -m option in order to get these working. As I use spine to poll, I'm not amazi...
