Hello Gthe My camm table(plugin_camm_syslog ) has about 986,763 rows now. Some devices of mine have a lot of rows in table, when I read some devices have many rows that will query about 5~10 seconds to display result.. So..,how to increase query performance? Thx~ Google for Mysql performance tuning...

Go to the Plugins General section of this forum. Find the Manage plugin thread created by it's author Gilles. Download the most recent version of the plugin, install it the way you would any other plugin. Configure it for your use.

In the first few lines of config.php in the syslog directory:

$syslogdb_default  = 'syslog';
$syslogdb_hostname = 'localhost';
$syslogdb_username = 'username';
$syslogdb_password = 'password';
Change the parameters appropriately.

Unless you've actually changed the location of of your root web in CentOS your problem is that poller.php is not where you've indicated.

CentOS default installation for Apache's rootweb is at:

/var/www/html

It sounds as though you haven't configured SNMP on your localhost, and you might not have started the snmp service.

spine -v <-- returns the spine version as well as command line options

whereis spine <-- should tell you where spine currently is

locate spine <-- returns all instances of spine in the directory structure.

Well that makes sense as to why it's doing it then, but why does it need to do it that way? Couldn't it read in the commented lines, but not display them in the editor so they could be re-written?

I'm just curious.
