Re: Upgrade from 1.1.25 to 1.1.18 fails. how to get around t

I realize it is a downgrade, I was just repeating the error I got. Unfortunately I cannot install from your link as I get an error on the install after setting up your repository: E: The repository 'http://ppa.launchpad.net/paul-climbing/cacti/ubuntu artful Release' does not have a Release file. N: ...

Upgrade from 1.1.25 to 1.1.18 fails. how to get around this.

I upgraded my ubuntu installation to artful. Prior to this I was using repositories for the 1.x cacti and was keeping up to date. Since upgrading though I installed the cacti that is in the default repository and that is 1.1.18. When I try to open cacti it says that I need to upgrade then fails with...

Re: Debian update broke graph closeups

Rows was added as a reserved word in 10.2.4. So now it requires quotes. https://mariadb.com/kb/en/mariadb/reserved-words/. I can set the sql_mode so that it will use regular quotes, but I am not sure if this will help. I can't be the only one that is having this issue as this was just a regular upda...

Re: Debian update broke graph closeups

Does anyone know where I need to make this change in cacti to get it to query correctly. I can see that it is not.

Re: Debian update broke graph closeups

OK so I have figured out that the query needs to have the fields in backticks, quotes do not work. MariaDB [cacti]> select `timespan`,`rows`,`steps` from rra where id=2; +----------+------+-------+ | timespan | rows | steps | +----------+------+-------+ | 604800 | 4320 | 30 | +----------+------+----...

Re: Debian update broke graph closeups

It looks like I get the exact error if i try to do this from the database directly. MariaDB [cacti]> describe rra; +----------------+-----------------------+------+-----+---------+----------------+ | Field | Type | Null | Key | Default | Extra | +----------------+-----------------------+------+-----...

Re: Debian update broke graph closeups

Does anyone have any suggestions for this? The graphs are actually being created. If I click on the looking glass it will bring up the correct graph so I can zoom in on it. it is just not bring up the correct graphs on the page that lists the different time periods all on one page.

Debian update broke graph closeups

I am using Debian Jessie 8.9 cacti 8.8b. I was way behind on updates on Debian on a server. This was not virtualized so we did not dare to update because it had been so long since the last update. So I moved it to a virtualized instance and everything was working. I took a snapshot and updated the s...

Re: Network Weathermap 0.98 Released

OK I have downloaded the github version and went through all the install steps for setting up and I still do not see the plugin in cacti 1.1.5. Is there something special I need to do to get this plugin to show up in cacti?

xml script to do multiple gets

I have a device that snmwalk hangs on. It will not return any data. I have a tool on my desktop and it will not either. I can do a get on an individual alarm point. Is there a way to script multiple gets and output for cacti to be able to use it? I have a few hundred alarm points on one device I nee...

Re: Data not filling graph -nan

I figured out what I was doing wrong. under data queries and then associated graph templates on the far right of data source there is an unlabeled checkbox I had been overlooking. I checked that recreated the graphs and it started working. Not sure why that would not be enabled by default.

Data not filling graph -nan

I have gone through the troubleshooting steps available and I can can run snmpwalk and it actually pulls the data. I can also do a verbose query and all the data comes up with that. I can pull the name for the graphs from the xml file and that works, but data does not populate the graph. cacti:~# sp...
