Mactrack - Device type status "unknown".

Cacti version: 0.8.8g Mactrack version: 3.01 OS: Windows Server 2012R2 Installed the mactrack plugin on my working Cacti. Followed the instructions for adding a site, device and device type provided by several forum members. Seem very straight forward. Copied the OID from the "device" add into the "...

Re: Resolving "Old PIA"

I was hoping that the PIA was an easy fix to the weathermap problem I am having--i.e. a blank weathermap tab and weathermap can't pull in the example.conf that came with the installation as the tutorial said to use as a starting point.

Thanks for the response.

Resolving "Old PIA"

I have installed the latest Cacti for Windows built, version 0.8.8g. However, when I tried to run several of the plugins, one specific example is Network Weathermap 0.97c, in the Plugin Management page, I am getting a status of "Old PIA". Weathermap will not load even their example.conf file (not su...

Two issues need fixes.

Here are two issues I am running into that I hope there is a quick work around/fix. 1. The graph time is off. I have server_1 graphing the data 1 hour behind. I tested the...

Re: Windows Installer [Cacti 0.8.8g] [Updated 2015-10-11]

Yes, I have waited many days. Some time, the data will map, but often than not, the data won't. Here is what I am seeing. 1. When I add a new object, the first graph is missing (as I expected since it hasn't created it yet). After 5-10 minutes, a blank graph come up. After that, it doesn't matter ho...

Re: Windows Installer [Cacti 0.8.8g] [Updated 2015-10-11]

Any luck with gettting the graph to show? I downloaded and installed the CACTI 0.8.8g package from this threat yesterday onto my Server 2012 R2. Install went flawlessly. I log onto Cacti (http://localhost/cacti) and was able to setup the localhost monitor and added a Cisco 2921 as well. The SNMP dis...

Re: new cacti setup, can't logon

Which log did you look into and what did you find to fix this problem? I'm having the same problem with a new install on my Windows Server 2012 R2 platform.

Thanks

Re: Polling issue.

Sorry, I am not on site very often to be able to look at the "Downed Device Detection" method to answer that question right now. I method it is using is whatever the default is for a "Cisco Router". Here is what I tried several weeks ago since my post. I restored the system from an image I created f...

Polling issue.

Cacti version: 0.8.8c OS: RedHat Linux I have brought up a new CACTI server and has been running it for about 6 months now monitoring about 6 Cisco routers/switches (Cisco 2901, 2921 and 3750X). I have been running CACTI for years. All was good so I begin to add the rest of my network devices. Added...
