[Cacti 0.8.8b] Add graph automatically issue

Hi, I would like to know if it is possible to dynamically, and via script, set the custom data of a data source (supplemental Data Template Data)? Now we have a script to create graphs dynamically, but this will search and duplicate everything, by searching for a similar data template, based on the ...

[plugin:aggregate] auto create && update

Hi,

We have interface graphs aggregations (we can have >50 graphs aggregated) and the interfaces can weekly change, what can lead to a huge ton work. Do you know a way to create, and update, automatically aggregated graphs?

Thanks and regards,

SNMP DATA (Indexed) - problems adding graphs

Hi! I've been trying to create Nokia 7750 SR temperature graphs via Data Query - using Get SNMP Data (Indexed) method. I've read the manual and some discussions in the forum, but I cannot add this to a graph. I replaced the direction to input in the temperature fields in order to check the values an...

Autom8 - graphs disappeared

Hi guys, We have Cacti 0.8.8b with Autom8 0.35. This was working fine until we had 2 devices that lost all interface graphs... further checking the devices, it seems that they have all the data sources created but, somehow, this lost the graph relation. In the device description we ca see: - number ...

[rrdclean] list size/number limitation?

Hi guys, Do you know if rrdclean have any list/entries size limitation? We just installed this plugin and run it for the first time... the result was a 220902 obsolete rrd's. We tried to delete or archive the rrd's and this is only working if we only give max 500 rrd's lists to process. If we try 10...

Graph Tree - Tree Template

Hi guys,

Can you add a way to duplicate or create a template, in the graph tree?
I'm asking this because we use the same tree for multiple devices and it would be great if we could duplicate it just changing the device hostname.

Tree example attached...

Thanks! Cheers,

Re: [HELP] Input Field>Special Type Code defined as descript

Yes, sorry... wrong usage of words. I used node when I was meaning to say graph/data source. We manually created the graph/data source, in other words - manually add the device name, after finding this issue, se we wont have any issues in the poller cache. I think that your suggestion will on...

Re: [HELP] Input Field>Special Type Code defined as descript

Ok, so this is only if the node was wrongly created... so, if we change this the new nodes will be created with the description, am I right?

Re: [HELP] Input Field>Special Type Code defined as descript

Hi phalek,

Thanks for your reply. Sorry for asking, but do we have any other way of doing this without rebuilding the poller? I'm asking this because if we rebuild the poller this will take a huge time, what will cause a very big impact in our daily work.

[HELP] Input Field>Special Type Code defined as description

Hi all, Need your support. We have a script in the Data Input Method, that was working with the "Input Fields > Special Type Code" defined as description . This was working correctly until we had a problem in Cacti and needed to reinstall it. Before the problem we had the Cacti 0.8.8a and now we hav...
