Re: XML issues and other problem

I dom't know how easy it is for you to try and upgrade, but 1.2.6 will be released at the end of this month. If you still have the same issue on there, it'll be a lot easier to identify in the current code. It may have been fixed by someone already so the problem may go away.

Re: RouterConfigs Plugin

Unfortunately, I don't have a HP Comware switch to play with so this is going to be guess work from me for now. Looking at your log though, it's like part of it is missing. The "Process is now NOT enabled" message only comes after some other lines where it attempts to find the prompt being used etc....

\what version of 'cacti do you have:? Since you have a debian based system, make sure you have the proper extensions enabled for both the cli and the web.

Re: Import DB error

The format should use utf8mb4 to properly support international characters. Not doing so is wrong.

The problem actually lies with the innodb format and needs some settings to allow large prefixes. This has been reported and closed on the github repo in the past few weeks.

Unfortunately, the output you sent was truncated. To get a proper understanding, it would need to be the full log.

Re: PHP did not return expected result / File not found

Can you do the following?

Code: Select all

ll /usr/bin/php
Then try this:

Code: Select all

/usr/bin/php <<cacti_path>>/install/cli_check.php 8
and post all the output here.

Then I believe that the error you saw has already been resolved in a later version as I do recall correcting a needle problem.

I'm not sure what version you are running but that line has no strpos() function on it in the latest version.

Re: totalling 22 Data Sources. Please Either Re-Index, Delete or

I published an update to spine this weekend that reduces timeout issues when a system isn't responding. It also highlighted a problem with one or two of my device configurations, the total timeout for each SNMP call will be: timeout + (retries * timeout) This means that if you have a timeout of say ...

Ensure you remove log/install-complete.log then run through the install until your problem email the install-complete.log to [email protected]

Re: Impossible to link or bookmark to views in the Tree?

v1.2 introduced deep linking again I'm sure. In fact, I went to check and it was.

Code: Select all

-issue#1494: Unable to Deep Link/Bookmark Trees
GitHub - When viewing a tree, links that are copied/pasted always start at top of tree
