Re: Cacti Poller/Spine truncating output from Script

I might have found the "problem", the result buffer in spine defaults to 1024, which is too small for my output. Recompiled spine with the following options seems to have helped: ./configure --with-static --with-results-buffer=4096 --with-max-scripts=40 --prefix=/var/www/cacti/spine --build=x86_64-p...

[Solved] Cacti Poller/Spine truncating output from Script

I am currently writing a script which fetches Varnish stats from Varnish Agent REST API, and it seems the poller is truncating the long output. Debug: ... Re: F5 BigIP v9 v10 v11 Templates (Global and LTM)

We added 3 APM related graph templates to our cacti setup that we thought we would share... Mandatory screenshots: 1.PNG 2.PNG 3.PNG Graph Templates: cacti_graph_template_f5_bigip_-_apm.zip All these are global stats for APM, as we are not experienced enough with cacti to deal with SNMP Data Queries...

Re: Cisco SFP (with DOM) Optical value plugin v0.2.3 + 0.2.4

Has anyone been able to graph standby interfaces with IOS XE and VSS?

We have 2x 4500-X switches configured in VSS and the data query for Cisco - Optical Power (DOM) only detects interfaces for the active switch.
This is working just fine with 2x 6509 (SUP720) in VSS...

Could you share the XML graph/data templates and data query you used for this?
We are trying to measure the same data on the same equipment.

Suddenly gray interface graphs

Re: heavy CPU consumer proces, mysql!

How many items are you polling?

Look into the Boost plugin and Spline poller for "increased" poller performance

Boost / MySQL behavior on stop/shutdown?

We currently installed boost into a Memory Resident database, and are currently wondering what happens to the data if we shutdown mysqld via /etc/init.d/mysql stop Will mysql write the data to disk or will the poll data be lost? If it's lost on mysql shutdown i guess it would be a good idea to add "...
