HI sunshine

I use a tool called qshape to get my information. I parse the results using Perl and use those results in my Cacti graphs. Here is an example:

$deferred = `/usr/local/bin/qshape -c /etc/postfix /var/spool/postfix/deferred |grep TOTAL`;

Hope this helps

It appears to be something related to the xml files. I have tried other files and the import was successful. Chalk this one up to bad files.

Unable to import templates

Using web import templates (file or text) it does nothing on the screen when clicking save, other than refreshing the page and clearing the file/text information. When looking in the log I see this: PHP Notice: Undefined index: import_file in /usr/local/apache2/htdocs/templates_import.php on line 54...

Thanks Chris, But I've been through that. Unfortunately, it does nothing in the way of describing how to build a PHP script to run in the script server. I have found simply through looking at existing code such as ss_fping, some of the necessary items. Since you are the only one to respond, I must a...

PHP Script Server - HowTo

Hello,

I'm starting to build some PHP scripts vs Perl for Cacti and have been unable to find much documentation on developing PHP scripts for the script server. Anyone know of a good HowTo document that outlines the script requirements for PHP in the Script Server.

Thanks

Found that this can only be done with Data Queries. I did find that by changing the Graph Template Title to use "per-graph" it allowed me to change the title on each graph

Adding Input Field value into Graph Title

How can I add the Data Input Method, Input field value into a graph title? Or, if that cannot be done, how do I manually change the title of a specific graph?

Thanks

I increased my Script timeout value (Settings->Poller) to 45 seconds and have seen a decrease in the number of POPEN timed out messages.

Sounds to me like one of your scripts is not inputting the required data. Try running in debug and determine which of your scripts is misbehaving.
