I'm having kind of the same problem, poller takes the whole 300sec cycle.. but not as often as yours, maybe just a few time/day. The actual cactid-polling is unaffected, it's the rrdtool process that hangs around for the 300sec cycle.

The more hosts i add, the more often the 300sec polling occurs.

Typically this is caused by not setting the memory_limit high enough. Make sure you have a minimum of 256M set for you installation and this should not occur again. Okey. Maybe best I'm putting it on 512MB.. gonna add a few more devices soon. Upgraded to j a few mins ago and things are looking good...

Well, Leave your memory_limit where you set it now. 256M or 512M is a good value. Now, let's get you working again. Run the following query on your Cacti database. truncate table poller_output; This will clear all the values in the table. This will cause gaps in your graphs, but it will get you wor...

What is your "memory_limit" set to in your php.ini? Run the following query on the Cacti database while the poller is not running: select count(*) as Total from poller_output; If you get a number above 0, what is it. Last, how big is your cacti.log? If it's rather large, you need to clear it out. I...

Cacti stopped working tonight

Hi. For no apparent reason, my cacti stopped polling correctly tonight. I added around 100 devices to a total of 220 earlier yesterday evening, but polling and everything seemed fine, and remained fine untill 2-3am this morning, when the graphing stopped an no new "STATS"-lines where shown in the lo...

Disable export per host

Is this possible? The only thing I can find is disabling export in Graph Template. I've got ~50 hosts and want to export just the traffic graph from one of them.

ADDED - node coordinates are directly editable in the editor now Thats really great :]. One thing i was thinking about was the possibility to make link-graphic a bit more.. smooth. Like graphs from RRDTool 1.2. Right now vertical links are kinda pixely. Nothing major, but it would be kinda nice :]
