If it helps, I will again export the templates. But they will be based on 0.8.6i, then

yes, please re-export again. I am having the same issues as other users with Unmet Dependency

For example searching for this hash does not exist anywhere in the XML not in my installation. Did you edit/recreate some of the default data templates on your install?:

I really need this template ;-)

The new host template does not import

#20 Post by churria » Thu Mar 08, 2007 4:38 am

Hi,

I try to import th last host template (march 7th) into cacti Version 0.8.6j but I recive "nothing" and the template does not import.

I mean, whe I import, the page reload with no messages, and i see the import form again, and nothing occurs.

Does anyone can help me?
Is a problem caused by the new template?

Thanks.

Fixed the XML file, there was an invalid CIFD in the original.

Hi guys,

I'm running the latest release 0.8.6j, will this template work, or does it need to be recompiled?

Also is anyone using this with Alteon 3408's as well as 2208's? Do they both work?

But when i browse the xml file and click on save button, there is nothing, no message to indicate me an error or if it's OK.

Can you help me ?

I use an anteon AD3:oops:

The problem is the original XML file posted was corrupted and would not import. I edited the file to make it XML compliant which allows for most of the items to be graphed but not all. The original file needs to re-exported as the file uploaded is missing some data which prevents some of the graphs from working correctly.

#27 Post by guitou » Wed Feb 27, 2008 5:44 am

Hi there,
I'm a new cacti user and I've import the template of this topic with succes even if there was Unmet dependency
[/img]
the result is that all graph tunr well excluded Real server session graph, in debug mode i've got this:
RRDTool Command:

c:/rrdtool/rrdtool.exe graph - \
--imgformat=PNG \
--start=-86400 \
--end=-300 \
--title="Alteon1 - Alteon Real Server Sessions cuweb03-colas.d=192.168.3.11" \
--base=1000 \
--height=120 \
--width=500 \
--alt-autoscale-max \
--lower-limit=0 \
--vertical-label="Sessions/min." \
--slope-mode \
DEF:a="D\:/Apache/Apache2/htdocs/cacti/rra/alteon1_totalsess_490.rrd":Fail:AVERAGE \
AREA:#00BF47:"Sessions" \
GPRINT::LAST:"Current\:%8.2lf %s" \
GPRINT::AVERAGE:"Average\:%8.2lf %s" \
GPRINT::MAX:"Max\:%8.2lf %s" \
COMMENT:"Total\: 0 bytes\n" \
LINE1:a#FF0000:"Failures" \
GPRINT:a:LAST:"Current\:%8.2lf %s" \
GPRINT:a:AVERAGE:"Average\:%8.2lf %s" \
GPRINT:a:MAX:"Max\:%8.2lf %s" \
COMMENT:"Total\: 0 bytes\n"
RRDTool Says:

ERROR: parameter '#00BF47' does not represent a number in line AREA:#00BF47:Sessions

I use the mib attach and just would like to graph .1.3.6.1.4.1.1872.2.5.4.2.2.1.2.x OID
I'will really appreciate your help on this case because i just need this graph are they not work

On user request, please find attached all resources for Alteon 2208 Loadbalancer. Export was done using Cacti 087b, so you will require at least this version.
RECOMMENDATION:
When applying this Host Template to a Device, all Data Quries will use reindex method = "Uptime goes Backwards". In most cases, this is not required. So you will have to delete the Data Queries again and re-apply them again one-by-one using reindex method = "Index Count Changed". A feature to automate this will not be available until Cacti088, sorry
Reinhard

2216E Host template import

#29 Post by guitou » Wed Mar 26, 2008 8:56 am

Hi Gandalf,

thanks for your answer. I've download all attached files and put them in my /ressources/snmp_queries. Then when I want to import the host template, I get a Error: XML: Hash version does not exist.

For your information, the host is a 2216E and not a 2208 but the mib i've attach in my first post is the well mib for 2216E.

The need is still the same: want to graph CPU usage and all .1.3.6.1.4.1.1872.2.5.4.2.2.1.2.x OID

Best regards

This error occurs if not using at least cacti087b
