get info about event

#1 Post by Kaktus » Wed Dec 13, 2017 8:36 am

I have configured Juniper router to send out snmp traps when someone execute commit:
Dec 13 13:55:17 snmpd[0] <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
Dec 13 13:55:17 snmpd[0] <<< V1 Trap
Dec 13 13:55:17 snmpd[0] <<< Source: 10.20.8.23
Dec 13 13:55:17 snmpd[0] <<< Destination: 10.36.0.19
Dec 13 13:55:17 snmpd[0] <<< Version: SNMPv1
Dec 13 13:55:17 snmpd[0] <<< Community: cacti
Dec 13 13:55:17 snmpd[0] <<< Agent addr: 58.0.0.3
Dec 13 13:55:17 snmpd[0] <<< sysUpTime: (1442721777) 4007:33:37.77
Dec 13 13:55:17 snmpd[0] <<< Enterprise: jnxSyslogNotifications
Dec 13 13:55:17 snmpd[0] <<< Generic trap: 6, Specific trap: 1
Dec 13 13:55:17 snmpd[0] <<<
Dec 13 13:55:17 snmpd[0] <<< OID : jnxSyslogEventName.13
Dec 13 13:55:17 snmpd[0] <<< type : OctetString
Dec 13 13:55:17 snmpd[0] <<< value: "UI_COMMIT"
Dec 13 13:55:17 snmpd[0] <<< HEX : 55 49 5f 43 4f 4d 4d 49
Dec 13 13:55:17 snmpd[0] <<< 54
Dec 13 13:55:17 snmpd[0] <<<

But this logs are not saved in cacti syslog. I have pluging: Syslog, snmp and camm installed.
How I can get info from cacti (email) when this event is triggered?

Thanks in advance

You have to configure the snmptt on the receiver host, which would be your syslog server.
