Hi,
I have graphic anf GPRINT that shows Utilization of an Network Interface as percentage.
In able to do this I create a CDEF that name is Percentage:
Code:
cdef=CURRENT_DATA_SOURCE,8,*,CURRENT_DS_MAXIMUM_VALUE,/,100,*

And Graph is shows like

I try to create thold alarm that My interface utilization is over %40 aw warning and %50 critical
To do this, I Use data manipulation;
Data Type:CDEF
Threshold CDEF : Percentage
Shown below:

But there is no alarmcreating.Seems Thold cant read values:

What is wrong?

First off your values look to be off. 2.9 meg is not 29% of a 1 gig interface, its .29%.

It is ifSpeed
But BW is 100Mbps. So I use CURRENT_DS_MAXIMUM_VALUE not |query_ifSpeed| to calculate utilization percentage
