#1 Post by ifilxh » Tue Apr 02, 2019 6:50 pm

I would like to set up threshold alert to monitor a 100M network link, traffic > 50M will trigger the alert

it doesn't work as expected, please see the email below, i am getting alerts when the traffic is only 16M?

An Alert has been issued that requires your attention.

Thold use the original values of the datasource so for 50M you have to set the alert value to 50000000, as you can see in the alert message the 16M are shown as 16073495.9732 (16000000).

As reference
100M = 10000000
10M = 1000000

The above is incorrect. M=6 zeros, so 10M would be 10+000000, etc.
100M = 100 000 000
10M = 10 000 000
