Hi all~

I have used a few Network Switches for the Network Layer 2(MAC) And the openBSD OS for the Network Layer 3(IP).

I'm very interesting this MacTrack plugin.

So i installed this MacTrack plugin my Cacti site and check the MAC Address.

It is very usefull!! to check for unknown MAC address management.

Now, I have an idea that How can i manage the IP address our Network?

the IP address information is stored to a Network Device of Network Layer 3 as a Router.

But i use NOT a Network Device of Router .. I'm only using openBSD OS for Gateway role and FireWall network device(Juniper SSG-140, SSG-5 -> Juniper NetScreen OS is possible~!!!).

I tried use the templet "get_standard_arp_table".. but it was NOT working.

Is it possible to apply openBSD OS to the MacTrack device???

Does anyone has experience that Unix/Linux OS adjust the MacTrack device?
