Need Help with weathermap

#1 Post by nituflorin07 » Tue May 30, 2017 8:21 am

Hi all!
I m going in circles for 3 days
i have cacti 0.8.8a
Everything was ok until I clicked the x on the interface trafic template traffic_in and traffic_out
i reconfigured the template like it was but my weathermap and graps for it are not working , the other graps are ok
only the trafic graps are not working
what can i do ? :o
in cacti log i have 83 warnings all links on my maps are with no valid data warning

Code: Select all

05/30/2017 04:05:19 PM - WEATHERMAP: Poller[0] WARNING: [Map 3] CiscoNexus: ReadData: LINK node07553-node08784a, target: /var/www/cacti/rra/18/201.rrd on config line 374 of /var/www/cacti/plugins/weathermap/configs/CiscoNexus had no valid data, according to WeatherMapDataSource_rrd

05/30/2017 04:05:19 PM - WEATHERMAP: Poller[0] WARNING: [Map 3] CiscoNexus: ReadData: LINK node07553-node08784, target: /var/www/cacti/rra/18/200.rrd on config line 366 of /var/www/cacti/plugins/weathermap/configs/CiscoNexus had no valid data, according to WeatherMapDataSource_rrd

If you recreated the graphs and data sources, then the rrd file will have changed. That's probably the old file.

Click on the little wrench by the graph and check the filename vs weathermap.

EDIT: Oh - I missed that the graphs aren't working either. I would say that you didn't recreate it fully. The simplest way to fix it for sure (that I can think of) would be to make a temporary cacti install somewhere else, and export the template for Interface Traffic from there and import to your normal installation, using the normal cacti import/export templates function.
Weathermap 0.98 is out! & QuickTree 1.0. Superlinks is over there now (and built-in to Cacti 1.x).
Some Other Cacti tweaks, including strip-graphs, icons and snmp/netflow stuff.
(Let me know if you have UK DevOps or Network Ops opportunities, too!)

i was ready to upgrade all to cacti 1.1.6 but ther is no working weathermap plugin compatible . i have te 1.1.6 and it is graphing also in weard way after 5 hours started to generate output on graps

if i made that inport from template i think it's the same thing it-s not automaticaly propagate over the actual host/graps/links ?

thats my trafic template also i can importit fron cacti oficial site

Code: Select all

You need to get the one for 0.8.8a as far as I know. Older versions can't import templates from newer versions.
Weathermap 0.98 is out! & QuickTree 1.0. Superlinks is over there now (and built-in to Cacti 1.x).
Some Other Cacti tweaks, including strip-graphs, icons and snmp/netflow stuff.

now i found something
i checked the rrd file updating de rrd file should be created by the poller but in my view poller cache page there is none of my interface trafic graps/queries
rrd files exist and thats the reason i have empty graps
now if i Rebuild Poller Cache it wil regenerate the pooler for that rrd intrface-traffic?
