[SOLVED] Observium Weathermap issues

#1 Post by nikit » Thu Mar 08, 2018 7:32 am

Hello,

I have use Weathermap in Observium software.

I have used both separate Weathermap and everything working properly.

After added one more Weathermap noticed that last both weathermaps not working properly. (First Weathermap is not affected, only the las both added.)

I do not know what is reasons for this, each maps use separate HTML file which is located in

/opt/observium/html/weathermap/maps

and configuration file in

/opt/observium/html/weathermap/configs

When removed the HTML and .conf file for the last added maps everything working. :o

Please help me to resolve this.
Thank you in advices.

I didn't even know there *was* an Observium weathermap :-)

But it sounds like your issue is with the poller process/cron job, whatever Observium uses to rebuild maps. Someone else wrote that (Looks like this guy: https://github.com/tobzsc/weathermap-for-observium )
Weathermap 0.98 is out! & QuickTree 1.0. Superlinks is over there now (and built-in to Cacti 1.x).
Some Other Cacti tweaks, including strip-graphs, icons and snmp/netflow stuff.
(Let me know if you have UK DevOps or Network Ops opportunities, too!)

Hello,

Thank you for your prompt reply

I have fixed this.

Add the following content inside Observium for Polling.

*/1 * * * * root cd /opt/observium/html/weathermap/; /opt/observium/html/weathermap/weathermap --config=/opt/observium/html/weathermap/configs/MAP.conf --image-uri=http://obs.x3me.net/weathermap/maps/E-IX_Hyd.png 2>/dev/null 1>/dev/null
