long time cacti user, thanks for new build.

ahem, dumb question:

I've just installed 1.3 on Centos 7 MariaDB 10.2, do I need to anything special to have it collect data/ run poller ?

I wasn't getting anything, then, I've tried manually from terminal to run poller.php, and, I'm getting data

shouldn't install set it up in cron during setup...?

what did I screw up...?

/usr/share/cacti# php poller.php

I think I've screwed up user, I've set it as user 'cron', BUT, system had no such user... my old install had such, this one, didn't

now, set as root in /etc/cron.d/cacti:

[[email protected] cron.d]# cat cacti
*/5 * * * * root /usr/bin/php /usr/share/cacti/poller.php > /dev/null 2>&1
#

and, it's working fine... sorry
