Hi,

Scenario:I installed new cacti to our new server, OS CentOS7 and I noticed it will not create or poll a new graph after the process, I need to manually turn on the poller using a cli command?

Question: Is there any way to make it automatic, once the server boot up ?

Thanks

Poller.php is run from cron which should be in a file in /etc/cron.d/cacti (or some similarly named file). If you installed manually, you need to create this file yourself.

I have a cron, also my cron is not commented.

Is there another reason?

If the poller is running, there will be activity in your logs. Do you have any logs that show stats that suggest the poller is running and if so, can you post them?

OK, so the problem is that your device is either not responding, or taking longer than 500ms to respond to queries via SNMP thus it's failing. Cacti can't do anything if it can't get the data.
