install cacti with oracle db

Is there any support on installing cacti onto Oracle db instead of mysql etc..

Currently, no. It would be nice to start moving the database layer out of the core code but it is there for speed and compatibility. Some of the statements would work but a lot of it would fail such as create table, indexes, etc, all have their own specifications in Oracle compared to MySQL. If you have some way to abstract the Oracle database behind some form of virtual MySQL database, that could work (eg, when microsoft access provides all the tables from an SQL database within an access DB via ODBC) but again unless it fully supported table/index creation, it would be a waste of time.
