Graphs 'reset' after upgrade to 1.2.8

#1 Post by markkneen » Mon Jan 06, 2020 5:43 am

Hi All,
This morning I ran an upgrade to cacti
The upgrade went without any noticeable problems yet when I logged in, i noticed all my graphs are showing no data since before the upgrade. Almost as though all the graphs have been reset.

Is there anything I can do to restore them?
Mark

The best way to upgrade in my opinion is to simply cp -rp over the entire install. Your RRDfiles will be preserved. Likely you were using another process, and simply left your RRDfiles in the old location. They need to stay put.

I'm still out there people. Getting excited for Cacti 1.2. I think it will be a great release.

If you know where the RRD files were stored before the upgrade, go into the upgrade settings and confirm the location for storing them hasn't changed.
