Plugin Architecture not working

#1 Post by phil_w » Wed Feb 17, 2010 5:26 am

Hi guys,

I've recently made a clean install of cacti on a clean install of ubuntu 9.10, from the latest version of cacti in the ubuntu repo.

I applied the PA by copying the contents of the files-0.8.7d folder into the /usr/share/cacti/site/ folder and applying the sql file to the database.

All seemed to go well, however my site now doesn't work. It displays the following when browsed to.

Code: Select all

Warning: include(/usr/share/cacti/site/lib/adodb/adodb.inc.php) [function.include]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /usr/share/cacti/site/include/global.php on line 201

Warning: include() [function.include]: Failed opening '/usr/share/cacti/site/lib/adodb/adodb.inc.php' for inclusion (include_path='.') in /usr/share/cacti/site/include/global.php on line 201

Fatal error: Call to undefined function NewADOConnection() in /usr/share/cacti/site/lib/database.php on line 38

It looks like Debian or Debian variant. They break up Cacti install into pieces. It's a bit complicated. ADODB is one of the things that the Debian packager moved to another location. Somewhere like /usr/lib/adodb or somewhere.

I'm still out there people. Getting excited for Cacti 1.2. I think it will be a great release.
