Steps to upgrade from Cacti 0.8.6h to 0.8.6i ?

#1 Post by N3NCY » Sat Oct 28, 2006 6:19 pm

What are the basic steps I (or anyone) would need to take to go from:
0.8.6h to 0.8.6i

I have the plugin architecture and multiple plugins.

Just a basic overiew of the steps involved would be nice.
Thank you,

Ernie

The Cacti Manual Chapter 4 has upgrade instructions. It should be in your current installation under the ../doc/html/ directory

If you're running CactiEZ, the paths will be slightly different. There's few notes in this posting for ugrading CactiEZ, although there is a new version out you may want to try that has additional plugins and various other improvements if you're going to upgrade.

Upgrade notes for CactiEZ:
