Cacti variables: |variable_name| list?

#1 Post by dieselboy » Thu Aug 23, 2012 12:17 am

I've tried searching but unsure what term to search for to return a topic or discussion on what I describe as variables for Cacti. You see these under Graph Templates or Data Queries and they look like

Code: Select all

Graph Last Updated:|date_time|
Theyre used to reference SNMP interface ID's or descriptions amongst others.

Is there a definitive list of what could be used? It would be useful to know what we can modify or create ourselves.

Apologies if there is already this list. Please could someone help me out by telling me what theyre called?

There are a lot of samples in the documentation here: ... #variables

You can also do |input_abc| to re-use information from a new data input method.

I did a Google search for 'cacti variables' and it was at the top. Maybe my results are skewed because I'm looking there so often.
