[solved] Windows 2008 R2 Servers - No C:\ Drive Usage

#1 Post by pshankland » Fri Jun 07, 2013 9:19 am

Hi, I have a fresh 0.8.8a install on CentOS 6.4 64Bit and am having issues with receiving the C:\ drive USED for Virtual (VMware) Windows 2008 R2 servers where the usage is always 0. Physical Windows 2008 R2 servers are working fine it is just the virtual ones.

Physical server:

Virtual server:

I have run the following snmpwalks on the virtual server and get the following:

Code: Select all

[[email protected] snmp_queries]# snmpwalk -v 2c -c public 10.10.10.10 .1.3.6.1.2.1.25.2.3.1.6
HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrStorageUsed.1 = INTEGER: 0
HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrStorageUsed.2 = INTEGER: 3374448
HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrStorageUsed.3 = INTEGER: 2001815
HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrStorageUsed.4 = INTEGER: 1048644
HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrStorageUsed.5 = INTEGER: 0
HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrStorageUsed.6 = INTEGER: 73738
HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrStorageUsed.7 = INTEGER: 49028

[[email protected] snmp_queries]# snmpwalk -v 2c -c public 10.10.10.10 .1.3.6.1.2.1.25.2.3.1.5
HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrStorageSize.1 = INTEGER: 0
HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrStorageSize.2 = INTEGER: 10459647
HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrStorageSize.3 = INTEGER: 26213631
HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrStorageSize.4 = INTEGER: 1309951
HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrStorageSize.5 = INTEGER: 0
HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrStorageSize.6 = INTEGER: 131028
HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrStorageSize.7 = INTEGER: 65528
Any ideas?

Thanks.
Pete.

Try increasing the snmp timeout for that device to 3-5 seconds. this is a long standing issue with the MS snmp agent.
