Hi All,

I've upgraded from 1.1.21 to 1.1.37 and it all went fine except for this script template.

I don't know what did it change but I don't seem to spot what's the issue.

I've been upgrading this installation from sources following the same procedure for file permissions, etc.

this is how the Data Input Method looks like

Not sure if the 'ss_fping" parameter should be there or not, from CLI I ran

Code:
php -q ss_fping.php oneofmyservers.com
min:0.0080 avg:0.0100 max:0.0150 dev:0.0023 loss:0.0000

I tried re-creating one of the graphs and It's not creating the RRD file which makes me think IT IS a file permissions issue.

Code:
[email protected] scripts # ls -al ss_fping.php
-rw-rw-r--. 1 cacti apache 2586 Sep  5  2017 ss_fping.php

I disabled selinux for troubleshooting so it shouldn't be causing troubles.

How do I debug/troubleshoot this?

SOLVED: don't forget to chmod u+s spine binary
