Hi all

Current using 0.8.8c cacti
Since cacti works fine already year ago and suddenly having polling issue
See if anyone have same experience can share

Below is the case after reboot server
1)Everything works fine around 3-4 hours (weathermap able complete under 3-4mins)
2)Then the CMDPHP: Poller start slowly and slowly (weathermap something could not enough time to complete)
3)Everything stop until reboot server

Found out on schedule task before cacti stop polling
Schedule task(every 5min) from "The operations completed successfully (0x0) then become (0xff)

Checked on window permission
1)Schedule task create my account(administrator) run as "SYSTEM"
2)CACTI install under D:\ and D drive already "Full Control" right
Checked on MySQL
1) Run mysqlcheck.exe -u root --auto-repair --databases cacti -p
Checked on CACTI
1)Change [Management] >> [Devices] >> Select Device >> SNMP Options -> SNMP Timeout 5000 ->300 ...etc
2)Change Setting >> Poller >> Maximum Concurrent Poller Processes >> 10 -> 64 -> 128 .....etc

Attache Log as below which cacti stop polling and reboot to 1 complete polling(weathermap complete)

You have to install spine:

follow the instructionts: http://www.cacti.net/spine_install_unix.php

And do not forget to configure spine.conf for doing that i had to copy spine.conf.dist to spine.conf and then had to edit the user and database password...

then configure path for spine and configure spine as poller method: http://www.cacti.net/spine_install.php

Found out in window task management have multiple cmd.exe / php.exe /rrdtoo.exe running

I create a sehedule take with below run every 124min
(since my poller could finish within 4min so it wont impact while below process was kill)

TASKKILL /F /IM cmd.exe /IM php.exe /IM rrdtool.exe
