Weathermap Alternatives

Is there any alternatives similar to weathermap that I can use in the mean time until the newer 1.x compatible version is released?

Howie and team GitHub have something working in database refactor branch.
Before history, there was a paradise, now dust.

Actually, I believe this is now in the master branch and the rework branch has been removed. The older 0.8.8 compatible code is now in branches (including an old master):
