Configuration of on demand updating of rrd aka boost perform

Hi,

Im using cacti 1.1.38 and i would like to configure on demand updating of rrd because of performance

im on a centos 7 machine with 32gb of memory

These are the stats from cacti:

SYSTEM STATS: Time:37.2218 Method:spine Processes:4 Threads:20 Hosts:99 HostsPerProcess:25 DataSources:6232 RRDsProcessed:4056

Just goto Settings > Performance and enable on demand updates.
Before history, there was a paradise, now dust.
