Upgrade didn't go as expected

#1 Post by glennwelker » Thu Nov 15, 2018 7:39 pm

Upgrade didn't create any errors or give any sign that anything went wrong. However, the visual look of the site isn't right (formatting / layout issues) and the main page still lists 0.8.8f as the version.

Yes, I did try to upgrade from that old of a version.

Let me know if anyone has any ideas.

Make sure that your apache configuration is pointing at the directory you think it should be. Please post the output from this command:

Code: Select all

sudo -u <webuser> php md5sum.php -v
It would also help if you could provide a screenshot.

I resolved this by removing the entire Cacti directory and re-extracting the tar along with config changes. It appears that I fat fingered something along the lines that caused two versions of cacti to be overlapped.
