[SOLVED] Can't graph degree "°" and accented characters

#1 Post by Piscenois » Sat Nov 24, 2018 5:27 pm

Hi !

I can't draw legends with ° nor accented characters.
In mariadb I see the good characters.
But in the rrdtool command (found in log file) they have disappeared.

DB :

Code: Select all

%6.2lf °C
Cmd :

Code: Select all

GPRINT:e:MAX:'Max. \:%6.2lf C'
Here is my conf :

cacti : 1.1.38
rrdtool : 1.6.x
mariadb : 10.1
php : 7.0.30

/etc/php/7.0/apache2/php.ini :

Code: Select all

default_charset = "UTF-8"
/etc/apache2/conf-available/charset.conf

Code: Select all

AddDefaultCharset UTF-8
locale -a :

Code: Select all

C
C.UTF-8
en_GB.utf8
en_US.utf8
fr_FR.utf8
POSIX
locale :

Code: Select all

LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8
LANGUAGE=
LC_CTYPE="fr_FR.UTF-8"
LC_NUMERIC="fr_FR.UTF-8"
LC_TIME="fr_FR.UTF-8"
LC_COLLATE="fr_FR.UTF-8"
LC_MONETARY="fr_FR.UTF-8"
LC_MESSAGES="fr_FR.UTF-8"
LC_PAPER="fr_FR.UTF-8"
LC_NAME="fr_FR.UTF-8"
LC_ADDRESS="fr_FR.UTF-8"
LC_TELEPHONE="fr_FR.UTF-8"
LC_MEASUREMENT="fr_FR.UTF-8"
LC_IDENTIFICATION="fr_FR.UTF-8"
LC_ALL=
If someone could help ... :)

regards

Solved with mysql configuration :

Code: Select all

collation-server = utf8mb4_unicode_ci
