We have an old graph template setup that uses 32 bit counters (ifInOctets and ifOutOctets) as the associated data source. That worked great in the old 10/100 days, but the 32 bit counters don't really work on gig interfaces. We've used the old fix64bit plugin in the past to "correct" the graphs. I'm trying to figure out if there would be any negative side effects if we canged ifInOctets/ifOutOctets on the associated data template to ifHCInOctets/ifHCOutOctets.
Specifically we would:
- Choose Data Queries
- Choose the particular query (which is SNMP - Interface Statistics)
- Choose the template (this is our custom template)
- Change the two data sources
Thanks in advance.
